50% off Inuit throat-singing @ NMM, Sun 25/6

We are proud to be hosting a performance by Inuit throat-singer Tanya Tagaq here at the National Maritime Museum on Sunday evening. It is the closing event of the Origins Festival of indigenous culture, and Tanya will perform an improvised soundtrack to the film ‘Nanook of the North’. She is an award-winning musician, who won the Polaris Prize (Canada’s equivalent of the Mercury Music Prize) in 2014, and who has been nominated for a second time this year. She has worked with Bjork and the Kronos Quartet, and her last concert in London received rave reviews, with the Financial Times awarding it five stars and calling it ‘Simply astounding’. This promises to be a night to remember!

As the choir in residence, I would like to offer London Oriana Choir members a 50% discount on tickets, with the code EPICEVENTS. Further details and the booking link are here.
