The London Oriana Choir wishes to take all necessary steps to prevent the spreading of coronavirus. In London there is currently no official advice to cancel public performances, or gatherings such as choir rehearsals, and we have no health concerns among our membership, so we are going ahead with the Beethoven 250 concert on Friday 13 March as planned.
We have put policies in place to closely monitor the situation with our members as well as rehearsal and performance venues. We would ask audience members to be aware of the latest Government advice (https://www.gov.uk/guidance/coronavirus-covid-19-information-for-the-public) and not attend the concert if they have travelled to high-risk areas and self-isolation has been advised, have fever symptoms, a persistent cough, or have been in recent close contact with anyone with either a positive or unconfirmed coronavirus diagnosis.
